Going East! We meant to leave on Sunday, but had an emergency with Rider. A bladder stone obstructed the urinary tract, so Rider couldn’t pee and the bladder was very big. This is a painful and dangerous situation, so it had to be flushed back in and after the vacation we will probably have to have the stones surgically removed. Yesterday he was still stoned from the morphine, but okay to travel! We took a break at the A&W in Melville and after noon we arrived in Angusville to visit friends Dries and Anneke. We had fun catching up and the guys went fishing! This morning we left their beautiful acreage to continue our journey east. We didn’t go very far, about four hours further east to the KOA campground west of Winnipeg. Decent campground, good showers and snackbar, nice people, just noisy as it’s right on the 1, which was to be expected. It’ll do for the night!
