05/06 - 05/07 drive homedrive home from Jasper to Edmonton (stopped at a Dutch store and visited Sebastiaan) and Lloydminster (visited Mark), next day home to Regina. 
05/05 Jasper, Maligne Lake Roadstayed in the Wapiti winter campground near Jasper, visited the town and drove down the Maligne Lake Road.. to find Maligne Lake still in snow and ice and no wildlife except close to Jasper. 
05/04 Icefields Parkwayon this beautiful, sunny day we took the Icefields Parkway to Jasper, stopping at Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Saskatchewan Crossing (lunch) and Athabasca Falls... lots of places still closed because of snow though! 
05/03 Johnston Canyon, Lake LouiseWe took the Bow Valley Parkway, walked the slippery Johnston Valley to the first falls, visited Lake Louise village and the lake itself, then checked into the campground there. So much snow still over there!! 
05/01 - 05/02 roadtrip, reunion, Banffwe drove west to Brooks for the first night, then to Airdrie to meet up with our Dutch friends Els, Maurice and Brian (from Eindhoven). Then on to Banff together! |
