10/22 - 10/24 visiting Fred & Jackie in Glenbainfinally a chance to go to the Gravelbourg region again, we had a great time with Fred & Jackie on their farm in Gleinbain (20 km west of Gravelbourg) and ended up adopting two of their kittens!! 
08/13 - 08/15 motorhoming! - Manitou & District Regional Park (Manitou Beach, SK)back on the campground of our very first trip last year, what a difference when it's all green! Beautiful campground and nice pics of (still) high water in Little Manitou Lake 
07/28 - 08/01 motorhoming! - Duck Mountain Provincial Park, SKfinally we managed to go to Madge Lake in the Saskatchewan part of Duck Mountain PP. We were impressed with the scenery and campsites, even though we didn't see any bear, moose or even deer :( 
07/16 - 07/18 motorhoming! - Cabri Regional Park, SKa weekend of camping with Tim, Cortney, their kids and Charlene! It was hard to find a spot anywhere, found us two here on the overflow. The regular spots are way more beautiful and the beach is small (and gone with the high water) but nicely shaded 
06/28 - 07/04 motorhoming! - Saskatoon & Prince Albert National Park, SKwe went to Saskatoon to see Dream Theater and Iron Maiden on the 29th, then on to Waskesiu in PANP for the Canada Day long weekend. 
06/24 North Portal, SK - US borderafter getting our visa, we drove to the nearest point of entry where we could land as immigrants, North Portal (2.5 hrs to the south east). After 6 years of dreaming (and working at it), we're landed immigrants / permanent residents now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
06/18 - 06/20 motorhoming! - Douglas Provincial Park (SK)short trip to Douglas PP at the shore of beautiful Lake Diefenbaker, also visited Elbow. 
06/09 Wascana Valleywe went to check out the Wascana Trails west of Regina - pleasantly surprised by the beauty, unpleasantly surprised by the amount of ticks, yikes (after only 10 mins: 8 on our clothes, 2 on our bodies later, brrrrrrrrr)! 
06/02 - 06/06 motorhoming! - Cypress Hills Provincial Park (SK)Returning to the beautiful Cypress Hills in Southwest Saskatchewan, this time we had a spot on the Terrace Campground. We did a few short hikes and drove to the West Block for the Conglomerate Cliffs and Fort Walsh 
05/07 - 05/09 motorhoming! - Buffalo View Campground @ Buffalo Pound, SKfirst camping trip of the season! Most campgrounds are still closed, but on this private campground we could get a spot with electricity if we didn't need other amenities. 
03/17 St Patricks DayWe went to 4 Seasons with Mark for some green beer, food and pool on the day of the Irish, St. Paddy's Day 
03/12 - 03/14 Kenosee Lake, Moose Mountain Provincial Park (SK)a perfect weekend at the Kenosee Inn overlooking Kenosee Lake and exploring a part of Moose Mountain Provincial Park by car (when we go camping we usually don't drive around much with the motorhome) |
