09/06 - 09/08 Kimberley, Lethbridge, Taber, homein Kimberley we spent a great day with Anja & Theo, and then we had to go home... we stopped in Lethbridge to visit another immigrant (no pics) and the Dutch store. Stayed in Taber, then got home on the 8th 
09/03 - 09/05 Okanagan, Nakusp, Kaslo, lakes, Creston, KimberleyWe left the Okanagan by driving past Kalamalka Lake, then through the mountains and forest to the Lakes in the interior. 2 Nights in Nakusp, then on to Kimberley (incl. a visit in Creston) 
08/31 - 09/02 the Okanagan: visits, Fintry, KelownaOn our way to Fintry we visited friends, then had a beautiful site in Fintry Provincial Park, we met up with our hometown friends John and Diana and fell in love with Kelowna! 
08/27 - 08/30 Salmon Arm, Shuswap Lake, Herald PP, Clearwater, Wells Grayon our way to Shuswap, started with sun, ended with rain in Salmon Arm. Great weather the next day in Herald PP at the lake. Then on to Clearwater (loved Dutch Lake Resort campground!) and Wells Gray PP, beautiful drive, no wildlife though. 
08/24 - 08/26 Bassano AB, Lake Louise AB, Revelstoke BCAfter Marlies's work we left for BC and got as far as Bassano, then the vacation really started when we got to Bragg Creek and ended in Lake Louise early. The next day we drove to Revelstoke, up the Meadows of the Sky Parkway but bad weather moved in. |
