09/20 GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo
for our 10th wedding anniversary we went to the nearby (fairly new) zoo in Kerkrade. It was a beautiful, sunny day!
07/15 interview with Jon Oliva and Matt LaPorte
Theo of Rock Inc. organized an interview day in the 'Muziekcafe' in Kerkrade with Jon Oliva (of Savatage fame) and Matt LaPorte of Jon Oliva's Pain. As an all-time Savatage fan it was an honor to interview Mr. Mountain King himself!
06/23 - 06/25 Bang Your Head
again a trip to our favorite open air festival in South-Germany, this time with Theo's bustravel. That was awesome!! We had a blast and found new friends in Brian and Cynthia from (originally) New Orleans!
06/15 - 06/17 visit from Paddy, Conny and Cora
Cora came already on Friday to help out with the yard. When Conny and Paddy came on Saturday we still had some work to do, but it was too hot to do much. We had a great weekend together, with a BBQ, beer and playing table tennis :) (pics Cora)

when our Canadian friend Marlin came to Europe again, we met with him in Amsterdam and visited (unfortunately in the rain) Volendam and Marken together.
05/21 cats of Ton and Dinie
we visited Ton and Dinie, who breed with certain Siamese cats. Those cats were great models!
05/06 BBQ with Anneke, Cordy, Milan, Marjan and Erik
Anneke, Cordy and Milan, as well as Marjan and Erik, came to visit and we had a nice day and BBQ together

Marlies' first metal album was MSG and now she had the chance to interview Michael Schenker himself for Morrigan's Pit! A fun talk, even though he was clearly not sober and somewhat incoherent. Combined interview with Ralph of Rockezine.

Theo of Rock Inc. organized an interview day in Landgraaf with Doro Pesch (Doro/Warlock). For Nico it was nice seeing her again, for he was involved in the Warlock fanclub in the 80s. Marlies interviewed her for Morrigan's Pit, Nico made some pics.
